From Trauma to Addiction to Prison to Reconstruction
Becoming the Change is a disciplined account of destruction, relapse, incarceration, and long-term recovery.
Written by Triple X, the book traces the full arc of trauma, addiction, crime, prison, and reconstruction. It does not glorify the past. It documents the cost of rationalization and the structure required to rebuild identity.

We do not deliver motivation alone. We deliver structure that protects long-term recovery.
A Personal Note from Triple X
I did not write this book to impress anyone.
I wrote it because relapse is often misunderstood. It is rarely sudden. It is gradual. It begins with small distortions that go unchecked. It grows in silence. It disguises itself as confidence.
For decades, I cycled between achievement and collapse. I built businesses while destroying myself. I convinced myself that intelligence and ambition would protect me. They did not.
Recovery became sustainable only when I stopped performing and started building structure.
This book exists for anyone who needs proof that reconstruction is possible when responsibility replaces rationalization and discipline replaces chaos.
Excerpt from
Becoming the Change
“There was a time when I believed control was strength. I believed that if I could manage the chaos around me, I could avoid confronting the chaos within me.
Addiction did not announce itself with collapse. It began with permission. Permission to cut corners. Permission to minimize consequences. Permission to believe that this time would be different.
Each relapse followed the same pattern. The story changed. The distortion did not.
What I finally understood was this: motivation fades. Consequences sting but do not transform. Only structure protects what motivation cannot.
Recovery did not begin when I stopped using. It began when I stopped negotiating.”
